He definitely squeezes light, plus he called off 100bb with KJo against a screw play, so I figure AQ to be quite strong against his range, especially given he should be folding a lot of pocket pairs here (assuming he squeezes with some of them).
So if a 4bet is correct here, and if I'm always calling AI against a 5bet, then my 4bet should be sized for maximum fold equity, does that make any sense?

[/ QUOTE ] no, it should be sized to maximize expectation. it should also fit into your overall gameplan. shoving fits into a shoving type gameplan w/ Axs hands as well as your big hands. 4 betting 2.5xish fits into a gameplan that allows you to make some 4bet bluffs w/ hands like 67o then fold to a shove. when you are doing this he will also be shoving hands like JTs sometimes as a 5bet bluff knowing you 4bet bluff sometimes. making some sort of PSB or making it 300 is just dumb and will usually result in you getting the money in bad the majority of the time you get it in.

so ur saying that if you 4bet to 300 or 370 like you said you would, that he is going to be sticking the money in here w/ worse than AQ often?
find a HH where you have put over half your stack in on a 4bet 100bb deep w/ AQ and he's shown up w/ something worse like AJ, KJ, etc...
