[/ QUOTE ] thats fine its my opinion. i watch A LOT of games during the season via mlb tv and if i were to pick someone on my team for def i would pick jeter over these ppl thats what im going by.

[/ QUOTE ] The fact that you pick Jeter over half that list is proof that human beings have very little ability to accurately judge talent based on observation alone. The fact that you completely disregard what statistics may say also proves that human beings tend to be very stubborn about their own abilities.

That's because Jeter is very good at catching the ball and throwing the ball.
He is absolutely ridiculously horrible at GETTING to the ball(For a Shortstop), and that's the most important thing for his position, not to mention a thing that is not easy to judge on TV.

He is the Manny Ramirez of the shortstop position.
