[ QUOTE ]
u check and he bets n e non pair hands here and some smaller pairs as well. he will also likely bet Qx but i doubt he has many combos of Qx here. so imo his range is a few random draws, low pps, and then a few Qx hands. [/ QUOTE ] So his range for betting is flushes, Qs, draws, and air. Surely this is an argument for C/R, not C/C, especially since every river is gross and playing correctly is impossible. The only problem is that he shouldn't really have a Queen from PF, and even if he does, this is a pretty standard pot control spot, no? I think B/C is not insane here. B/F is obviously the worst line by far, since he's raising like almost his entire range (the only question is, how much of it is bluffs/semibluffs). Even if he doesn't raise, you're still beat, because it means he has a Q. C/F is obviously perfectly fine. I see a villain description of "17/14", "straightforward", and "abc". None of this really inclines me to play for stacks on the turn. |

No QK or QJ? I would think those are def in his range pre, maybe I'm wrong, never played with him.

Please don't tell me you are calling with KQ and JQ in this spot.

Re: JJ vs. thac - NL$100
Preflop I'll call with KQs and QJs intending to steal a lot of pots from position if the openers got a PFR of over 16/17 or so, don't see anything wrong with that. Obviously it's better from a CO/Button situation but I think it's fine for thac here.
BTW I would never c/r turn without a sick read on how villain plays draws, but I think it's worth at least a bit of thought. |

Re: JJ vs. thac - NL$100
How exactly do you steal? Call the flop UI and pray he does not second barrel? Ever worried about ROI? Tried 3betting those hands instead?
Calling CO opening with KQs is even worse. |

Re: JJ vs. thac - NL$100
Well I mean I dont usually 3 bet KQ against people from the first two spots without a good read so I guess this is a fold pre flop then.
