Re: 2/4 live unbeatable?
I think 2/4 can be beatable but you have to be able to handle the boredom of playing at those stakes with such small rewards. Were I live there are about 20 Poker rooms with small stakes games Only one room had 2/4 that failed after about year. The long term players got sick of small rewards and 6-7 players seeing the flop every hand on a 9 player table. Many of us moved up and increased our winnings as we did.

They're going to lose most of the time with that many people in the pot? Damn, nevermind, I want to be heads up with a rock that's going to fold on the flop. [/sarcasm] it doesn't matter that you lose most of the time. You come out ahead long term, ldo. |

[/ QUOTE ] Some hands play better against small number of player (big pairs) others play better against large number of players (suited connectors AK, AQ ect) In a 2-4 game you CAN NOT raise enough to limit the callers, give me a 1-4 or 1-5 game any time, thank you very much. I rather not burn my time playing 2-4 poker. For me it was much easier to change the game that played better for me than to change my play for low profit game. |
