A9s is not standard 3b for me in this spot - if BB sucks and I feel I can bully UTG, I might try it depending on the game flow.

i dont play on stars, so i dont know him.
But shoudlnt this be very very oponent specific. What does he know about you and so on. Its really hard to tell. Do you call flop/turn with 88 for example? However i would say JT at least, it wouldnt make sense for you to bet with like 66, why should he call ak?

Well then. i read the thread after posting, if he even 3 bets A9s, which is really to light imho, i would also valuebet any pair for sure.
Whatever, like i said, so much comes together(could you have 98), so its hard to tell
