If he 4 tables, averaging around 200 hands per table per hour, then he has to win at 6ptbb and play 5.2 hours in a day to win $2k.

[/ QUOTE ]

No for all of those. He won't always be 4 tabling at 200 hands an hour and I don't know who he is yet but I just don't see the rest of it happening.

if he is going to play 50+ hours a week, 3+ tabling, and is a good disciplined player, then I think it is definitely possible.

[/ QUOTE ]

(50hr/wk) x (52wk/yr) = 2600hr/yr

($700000/yr) / (2600hr/yr) = $269.23/hr

$269.23/hr divided equally amongst 3 tables is $89.74/hr per table or 22.4BB/hr @ every table.

the 2/4 HU tables run around 200 hands/hr @ FT most of the time. so whoever does this should b beatin the game for 11.2BB every 100 hands.

i'ma say this is not impossible @ all but improbable enough for me to put half of my poker bankroll (@ even money) against someone sustainin it for over 200k hands.

now if the bet involves 6 tables then it can definitely be done. 6-tablin @ 2/4 for 5.6BB per 100 hands is very doable by a good player. now that i think of it, i believe i know a few people capable of achievin this. i'm not so sure i would bet against it.

i could easily lose 700k in a year playing 2/4, so i don't see why one player couldn't win that much.

Unassailable logic. ^_-

it's definitely highly unlikely, but i don't want to underestimate people here. i could never do it, but it just reminds me of that southpark quote: "how do you kill that which has no life?"

It's going to require putting in more than 100k hands in a month.

guys, its not 2005 and people aren't handing you money on Party. I pretty much don't see anyone winning 1750 buyins in a year at 2/4. As others said, if he could then he should be playing 10/20 at the minimum and saving himself some time.
