As far as the actual feeling it puts on your dick, it's pretty damn close to the real thing. But [censored] a real chick is tons better. A lot of sex is mental, and knowing that you're with another person who is hot for you instead of a toy is huge. So it feels the same but it doesn't really FEEL the same. Plus, there are no titties to grab LDO. The preparation is a bitch. You have to warm up it by soaking it in hot water for 10-15 minutes. If it's cold it feels really creepy. When you're done you have to clean it out and it's kinda depressing in that post-masturbatory funk. But it really is better than rubbing one out with your hand. FWIW, I don't think it deserves the stigma attached to it.
