Here's the ones I've seen.

John Madden-Very Good
Jack Nicholson-Meh
Al Pacino-not good
Deniro-bad
Williams-since I didn't hate it, bad

I think you're thinking of Williams.

[/ QUOTE ]

His Pacino with the Who's on first routine is actually really good.

I'll watch it if I happen to catch it partly just out of curiousity I guess. I ain't going out of my way to watch it though because I really don't care.

This is the correct forum for this topic.
Through no fault of our own, TBS has decided to make Frank TV part of the baseball playoffs. This is also the sports-programming/broadcasting forum for lack of a better term.
And Frank TV officially qualifies as sports-programming now since it has comprised approximately 30% of each baseball broadcast. Frank Caliendo is more a part of the show than the sideline announcers like Mark Fein or Craig Sager, etc.

His Robin Williams just came on now while I had my back to the screen and I really thought it was Robin Williams. I thought it was spot on.

This looks like the standard comedy bit that is really funny in 2 minute clips, but not in 30 minutes shows.

His Robin Williams is really tight. I still don't know who the guy in all black with the pearl necklace is supposed to be.

umm.. what's the show supposed to be about? OK you do impressions.. so it's just going to be 30 minutes of mediocre impressions? f that.

And why did someone post "TURDUCKEN!" That [censored]'s amazing. I'd rather watch a 30 minute sitcom about turkducken than this Frank douche.

This is a bit of a one-off that I'm sure you whippersnappers won't remember, but the relentless pimping of this bizarre Frank TV show reminds me of a decade+ ago when CBS spent half the NFL season pimping some goofy show starring John Leguizamo (sp) called "House of Buggin'". Man did they pimp the crap out of that show but I'm not sure it even made it a full season. Anyway, it cracked me up to hear the octogenarian Pat Summerall say "House of Buggin'" ten times in the course of a Niners-Cowboys game.

tuq - i was such a huge House of Buggin fan you wouldn't believe it.
No, it did not make it a full season. Only lasted a half-year and it was kind of too bad because some of the sketches were hilarious.
They went back to the drawing-board after that and came up with Mad TV from the In Loving Color people after their little experiment to create an In Living Color for Latinos type show didn't quite work.

Lots of the House of Buggin skits were up on youtube. Look up the one with the singing-cantina people. My favorite of the available ones.

The best House of Buggin sketch though was a West Side Story parody where a real gang like the Bloods or something runs into a bunch of dancing, pink and green golf-shirt wearing singing and dancing types like the Jets or Sharks.
Bloods are all bad-ass. Jets are dancing around and saying things like "Boffo! Socko!!"
It was so ridiculous it had me laughing to the point of not being able to breathe.
