somewhere in the midwest!!! [/ QUOTE ] This would be like the Bears playing in a wheatfield instead of Soldier Field. Anywhere outside of Vegas is retarded. |

Geez guys. I was only like 5% serious about having a sttf gathering in the midwest. But now I kind of want to organize one just to piss you all off

I agree it's due time, but you can't be like, "Hey Craig, about time you took 20+ hours out of your 80+/hour week schedule and took another couple Gs+ hit so the rest of us can have a good time - go plan/organize/rally up the troops for an event." It's hard enough planning a good event with 5 close friends, let alone a bunch of people from across the country. I'll give mad props to Irie for previous STTF functions, b/c it's hard to fully appreciate well-run/thought-out events until you attend a couple of half-ass run ones. Getting 20+ people in sync for&throughout an event is a tough, tough thing to do, even if it involves poker & extracurriculars... [/ QUOTE ] Seriously, I hope anyone who has ever been to an STTF event appreciates how much Craig really does when he doesn't have to. Devin, Canada idea is brilliant but there's no way your getting anyone out to Calgary |

I've volunteered myself for the Craig role in what should be a pretty nutty time. I was seriously offering, not trying to turn this into a "please have a party in my town" thread. If you guys had ever been to a good Marmont party, you'd probably be jumping all over this. Or scared. One of the two.
Chateau Marmont isn't a normal hotel. There are ghosts in that place. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. |

Apparently I'm like the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoons in this thread. I've offered to play the Irieguy role. I've got a great venue, idea, and neighborhood. Have you guys not read my Thailand threads? I know how to throw a party.
