Also, could you answer the question about if you smoke weed and think it should be illegal?

[/ QUOTE ]
I already did, and I dont think it should be illegal, I think it should stay illegal.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is hypocritical.

YOU BELIEVE YOU SHOULD BE IN JAIL!

Why do you believe that other people should have their homes, jobs, money, and freedom taken away from them and yet you should stay free for doing the same thing? What makes them different from you? Are they poor? Black? Criminals? Violent? What?

If you really hold these beliefs, the only proper thing to do is go to the nearest police station immediately and turn yourself in.

Anhhh, never mind. They'd just take your weed and laugh at you anyway.

OK, I'll try to keep away from the personal attacks which seem all to easy for me to slide into. But you do see the logical issues with your stance, right?

Why should you not be in jail?

IMO it's very sad that in some states you get more of a penalty for possession as you would for felony manslaughter .

You are not wrong, Conspire. Don't feel you have to say that. You are entitled to your opinion and I for one enjoy hearing your point of view.

[ QUOTE ]
Young kids always like to do the opposite of what they are told by authority. Im just saying its better to have people selling a less dangerous drug like marijauana to young kids than having them sell coke or other drugs. If marijuana is legal we will eventually get used to the fact we can get it easy and will want a different high.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm undecided on the legalization of hard drugs but i would like to see weed legalized. Is your point that if marijuana were to be legalized then kids would naturally seek out a harder drug? Because you may in fact be right about that. But of course many kids already do that anyway. Most kids who want to experiment and who enjoy risks are not content to stop at weed.

I stand for the legalizing of all drugs.

Conspire, your argument is the exact argument I use for the pro-legalizing. The reason why kids do drugs, drink, and smoke is because they rebelling against society. Many people want to be a rebel. If the door was open for all the people to buy as they pleased, we would be able to talk more open about it. The rebel feeling of selling and doing drugs would be gone. We would be able to see that people who do abuse drugs are not longer rebel's, they are sick, and no one wants to be sick.

[/ QUOTE ]

Im sorry, but I disagree. Communism in theory works great, when applied to the real world it fails miserably. Same goes for Americas drug culture, our country is the biggest addict of the world. I dont see how this will ever change, even our own government is prescribing us all kinds of crap.

[/ QUOTE ]

Um, the example I give here is showing that capitalism would prevail the mass opinion. Drugs are too easy to obtain, they are no longer cool, the use starts to diminish.

See Amsterdam. It's just the tourists that are heavy into all the legal stuff.

Ya, kurt I understand what you are saying and you were able to clarify it pretty good. Like I said I am young, and I have my views based on how I grew up in the surroundings that I did. By spitting what I spit, I made an ass of myself but I am not embarassed, its all good.

I believe what Conspire is saying is "Do as I say, not as I do" While using marijuana is a choice Conspire makes, Conspire does not believe all drugs should be legalized. Personally, I would prefer to see all drugs legalized, at which point the prices of certain drugs will come down, making drug use cause less crime.

Also, for the record, I do not believe that drug legalization will decrease drug use. I believe it will increase drug use. I also believe in Social Darwinism fwiw.

No, we're just talking about marijuana.

I don't understand how you can reconcile wanting to lock people up in federal PMITA prison for doing the same thing you do. I want to know what Conspire thinks makes him special, why others' should have their lives ruined while he should be able to do what ever he wants.

I don't recall Conspire saying he would be exempt from the laws, or saying that he feels doing drugs is the right thing to do.

I think you are focusing on the wrong part of what he was saying; the only part that WASN'T illogical.
