what do you guys thinks about all the hipsters that ride fixie/track bikes, and carry around giant chrome messenger bags.

these guys annoy me cause no matter where they go, they always keep their right pant leg rolled up. ok, we get it, you ride a fixie. good for you.

How does being a courier work with the ladies? Do they go crazy for your buns of steel?

When you walk into an office, do you think the receptionists look at you with disdain, some dirty scummy creature that's just walked off the street, or as the throbbing epitome of dangerous masculinity?

Are you worried the day you stop being a courier, your body will go to waste?

I want to read this thread but I don't have time.

I just wanted to say that I'm from Pittsburgh and my roommate is one of our famous bike nerds.

Our basement could be a bike shop.

i love riding around SF on my bike, as its my primary means of transport and its fun to dodge traffic and run lights and stopsigns and such. but i'm no messenger or anything, except for my own stuff.

do you ever skitch on cars? i've seen some videos of bike races in NYC where they did, but i wonder if thats a standard practice or just showing off.
