because he is short you have a definitive measurement for your EV calculation whereas if he had a full stack or more you would not know what kind of bet to expect on a blank river, or what he would call.

whereas being short you are reasonably confident he will get the rest of this stack in at this time with a wide range of hands

[/ QUOTE ]because shortstacks generally suck at this level. because shortstacks at 100NL love to play AA/KK like this preflop. because there are a million 2 pair hands in his range. and lastly, and perhaps the best reason, because if he has a flush/straight then its never more fun to suck out than when you do it against a shortstack.

Even if you go all in and villain wasnt getting odds to chase a set pre, you are still making a big mistake. I fold this without much thought.
