BTW, if that isn't the kind of league everyone is interested in, that's obviously cool. I don't think either Matt or I are trying to hijack the idea and force this setup, and I realize it may come across that way.

agreed, I'm sure you guys would still get plenty of interest in a standard keeper league, so it all depends on what you all want.

It's pretty clear that I like this league format, but I am fine with what was originally discussed, too.

I'd totally be down for the C'meister style league as well. I'd be willing to bump to $100 for that as well, as if I'm putting that much more work in, I want the dollahs when I win...

Your way may be a little bit too in depth for me, but I'm willing to listen to what everyone else has to say.

I say we try to get a clarkmeister-type league going. We need a commish (anyone want to volunteer?) and 16 people. If we can't get it off the ground within the next couple of weeks, we go back to a more simple keeper league, which it seems we already have enough interest for.

I can't say this with 100% certainty until Clark confirms back to me on this, but I am pretty sure that for now we can operate under the assumption that Clarkmeister will commish this, and I will be his assistant commish/treasurer.

I can tell you this league is a lot of fun, but the best owners competitively and for the good of the league as a whole are those who plan on being very active and are committed to being in the league for years to come. So these types of people should definitely sign up.

I am trying to engage my friend who is the commish of the other league to get involved with this one as well, especially since I would run it literally identically. Hopefully he'll agree to at least get in and lend his experience as he is a pretty amazing commish, even if I do need to take on some of the grunt work to get him engaged. I think we may be able to pull this off. I'm getting cautiously excited.
