parlay has a point. though tbh if i didnt semi misclick the flop, i probably have an overpair beat nearly always.

People call when they are confused in my experience

Why would he be confused? There is nothing confusing about jfish line here. He is repping a monster.

I'm bumping this because I just saw it, and I am 3-2-1BuStO.

lol at people saying how bad my line was for KK. Also, I think my line is at least as good as bet/folding the turn as I get the benefit of seeing the turn action with the other 2 players interacting.

I had KK and folded, an thought jfish's line was good other than the flop. I thought there was no way he would overcall here with a weak J, maybe with AJ, but mostly with sets, draws or maybe some weird 2 pair because he always calls with almost any 2 cards if he's given "good odds" on the button. I checked the turn fully expecting a bet, major action, and i fold, however, when the other guy checked, something about his timing made me call the turn, I actually was somewhat close to calling the river as I thought he could be turning a 1 pair hand into a bluff, but I kept coming back to, what 1 pair hand would be dumb enough to call the flop with (maybe AJ and i think he would just show that down).

Also, everyone knows that I never fold, so I thought there was no way anyone who plays with me regularly is trying to make me fold an obvious overpair.

what about c/f with plans on betting river if checked through? is that better than c/c down?

[/ QUOTE ]

This was actually me plan, but for the timing on the turn which almost made me call the river..

i like it for the reasons dd323 just said
the overcall has to = J or gutter, several of the gutters got there, and villain might not expect hero to turn a J into a bluff
