I'm thinking more like 4/10. Maybe only 3.5

ORLY ? so Green Bay's run was just that bad ? Ok that makes me feel a lot better about Portis's chances. I had this idea that their run D was insane after week 1.

Washington's defense is much improved over last year, waaaaay more than people think, imo. Campbell has a sweet deep ball and just needs to work on mid range accuracy a bit, but should be fine. Portis/Betts could be a top 3 rushing tandem this year if both stay healthy. Losing Jansen will not hurt as much as many people believe. Although he is a captian and longest tenured player on the team, there were many rumors in camp that his backup, Todd Wade, is a better tackle and has been outperforming Jansen in practice and training camp since he arrived last year.

The performance when the games actually count doesn't... count?

eagles fans, how good is your run stopping ? I mean if Chicago is like 10/10, are you guys a 7 ?

[/ QUOTE ]

Philly ranked 14th in (defensive) rushing DVOA last year. They ranked 7th in Week 1 this year, although a lot of that obviously has to do with Green Bay.

Due to personnel changes, they should be better against the run than last year. Probably around 10th in the NFL.

And PS, Chicago is not the best run defense in the NFL. There are several better ones.

Wait, what? Um...yes it does. Just saying they have a backup tackle that is more than capable.

Tight end Chris Cooley is being chided by teammates for depositing his recent $9 million signing bonus check at a drive-through lane of a Leesburg bank. Cooley said the transaction did not surprise the teller. "She just took a little bit longer to come back out," he said.

I bet those two Philly guys with the towels on the sidelines blocking the D coaches signals are going to get a ton of airtime on MNF, I guess you call em towel boys.
