No one ever checks this turn with an Ace. So now you gotta worry about whether this guy is stupid enough to value push JJ/QQ when he knows you don't have an Ace. Or try to bluff you off a split because he "knows" you are bluffing (because you don't have an Ace). Oh and I agree, bet the turn. |

i dont think some random 100NL player turning a decent full house into a deep bet/3-bet bluff on the river in a RR pot w/ 3 aces on the board is that much of a concern tbh

Personally, I would call simply because I want to control the size of the pot. If raise, then there is a high chance that he will reraise and the range of hands is from 8x to pocket 99 and above and the dreaded Ax. The only hand that we are afraid of is Ax, so I would make the call.
However, I can see how a raise in this situation is good play as well. The reraise on preflop would suggest a high pocket pair, I would not be very surprised if the guy has KK as well. The reason why I think a raise on the river is not a great play is because the size of the pot. The pot is only 40 dollars and it unneccessary to make a decision for your whole stack if he happens to reraise you and was donk enough to reraise with Ax preflop. |

And it's pretty ridiculous to think some 100nl player is going to bluff 200bbs off on the river. It's definitely not going to happen often enough to call instead of raise for value. |

Oh wow I misread the hand. I thought the board was AA88x. Now it's an even more obvious spot to raise, and I would call a shove here quickly.

WTF @ calling? I raise here all day w/ the intention of snap-calling a shove (which I don't think he's doing often). Nobody ever has quads, LDO.

You need to bet the turn here. As played pretty simple raise/call shove, but I don't like folding here... like ever.

So he doesn't have an A either. So raise/call the river. |
