I didn't get to play much, but when I did August was crappy:





My W$SF, WTSD and W$SD are all low. Together they might indicate running bad, or they might indicate something wrong with my game as I try to adjust to playing a bit tighter on the $30nl tables.

September goals:

- Play 20k hands
- Relearn whatever I have forgotten about being a winning player
- Get back to $50nl
- ???

Is that the deepstack 30's? I can't imagine many folks knowing how to play deep. BTW your graph looks similar to mine. Was nasty for 11k hands. Second best hand city.

Started playing 6max this month, been running pretty good at NL25. I'm planning on having another ~10k hands at this level before hopefully moving up by the second half of September.

I took a break from poker for a few months. Came back middle of this month, got my feet wet in NL25, and went right back up to NL50. Ran quite well, too.

My goals for September:
- Play 10k hands
- Continue to focus on table selection
- Earn enough to take a shot at NL100

I'm so ready for August to be over...things were fantastic for the first three weeks and then it all went completely to hell.



Like I said, not going well right now but I'm a stubborn SOB and I'm going to do several things in September.

1. Take more stabs at pots that no one seems interested in
2. Be more aggressive overall
3. C-bet in better spots to try and avoid them getting picked off
4. Don't chase draws without proper odds/don't overestimate implied odds
5. Don't play marathon sessions...1k hands is plenty at one sitting
6. Find my [censored] fold button and put it to good use

So this was my first full month back into cash games after a two year hiatus. Having cashed out of all of the sites long ago, I took the UB points I had accrued and started entering low cost MTT's. I was able to scratch together $200, and figured I was properly rolled for .05/.10 I started grinding:



In August I started out with a very tight style of play. As the month progressed I began to loosen up my game and that is when all heck broke loose as can be seen from the large swings. I have recently switched over to the Gelford Ubernit style and was doing fine until I took a 1.5BI loss to coolers and turned it into a 5BI loss due to steam.

My goals for September are:
1. Stay true to the Ubernit style
2. Quit crying about variance
3. Become smart aggressive on later streets (I have spewy aggressive mastered [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img])
4. Kill 10NL at 10+ PT BB/100 so I can move up to 25NL
5. 50k Hands
