Re: Baseball Trivia Question
It's basically Utley > Howard >>> Rollins ~ Hamels ~ Rowand

Re: Baseball Trivia Question
Utley must have the wrists of a God. I can't remember someone of his stature and swing consistently jacking balls as far as he can. It's a thing of beauty.
Someone confirm whether or not Philly fans boo him if he's in an 0-8 "slump". That would be awesome. |

Re: Baseball Trivia Question
I don't think Utley has ever been booed. He would need to go at least....20 at-bats without a hit.

Re: Baseball Trivia Question
LOL at Rowand being a better player than Rollins.
The award is specifically called the "Most Valuable Player" award, not the "Best Player in the League" award. There often is a difference. I don't have a problem with writers who use 'being on a winning team' as one of their criteria. If that makes them (and me) a moron than so be it. It's a subjective award so I don't get too worked up over it. |

Re: Baseball Trivia Question
Oh, and as long as we are definitively ranking Phillie players the correct answer is: Howard>(Utley=Rollins)>>>(Burrell=Rowa nd)>Hamels
