How do you guys miss the biggest example of all?
Muhammad Ali was convicted of draft evasion and sentenced ot five years in jail. The sentence was upheld in a court of appeals. Ali begain fighting again, including his first fight with Frazier, before the Supreme Court reversed his conviction.

[/ QUOTE ] Also, about 7 months later their RB Fred Lane was shot by his wife (yeah, actually he had just been traded to the Colts, but hadn't played there yet). Weird couple of months for the Panthers.
