Own or rent?

I moved into a new place a month back and your pics have given me some ideas.

Unfortunately im pretty limited since my place is a furnished rental. I hate my bed cos it is metal and when my feet hang off the end they either clatter the frame or just get cold.

I need to get a marker board for a wall. Great idea - was pondering an etch a sketch like on friends, but that is way better.

Also the walls throughout are bare. I want to buy a big ass painting or something for the main living/dining room that is open plan.

Finally, our glass table pisses me off. Plus its never used. Ever.

What are those things your remotes and Xbox are on? Are they tables or stools or what? They look cool, and a couple of them could be well useful.

Whats the deal with lots of cushions on your couch? I never understood why some people like to have loads when like one per seat is more than enough. It always seemed to be a bit of a feminine trate of decoration, but i could be wrong.

Not sure if you realized it but you need paper towels. Also, there's some kind of ghost/monster in your bathroom that only has elbows.

It's too neat for a single guy. Where are the empty beer cans and pizza boxes that are supposed to be stacked up and used as tables?
