For the future , when ever some one in a "company" car hits you . You need to call the cops in

You hav etwo choices:
1) Deal with it yourself. Be prepared to be intimidated, cajoled and abused by the company. You will need to threaten them with going to the cops, etc. One thing you can do is call their insurance and see if they will settle it. Since you aren't dealing with normal channels, they can make it miserable for you to deal with them. Also, just get susser to accompany you to the place. That way you can run while they are kicking his ass. I got rear-ended by a young attorney driving a client's car. The law firm cut me a check 10 days later after I got my car fixed. They also paid for a nice rental car. 2) Let your insurance company handle. It's what you paid them for. If your record is clean, I doubt the 1st incident affects your rates (don't know have CA works). If you already have a bunch of 'incidents' on your insurance then see #1 above.

aladare and SuckingCO2 have different IP addresses on opposite sides of the country. Therefore, there is a chance that aladare might simply be high.

This is going to cause you problems. Why would the other company want to pay out of pocket for your car repair? That's what they have insurance for. Anyway, why don't you just call the owner of the company who's driver hit you and gave you false information and find out how he/she wants to proceed. Maybe you'll get lucky and for some reason they'll just want to fix your car. But in a no-fault state I doubt it. I don't know Cali laws, but were I live, the accident should be reported to the police and the insurance company. That way you are covered in the case that someone lies to you.
