Trip report --

"SMOKES Cigarette and Cigar Shoppe"

Despite asking the owner several times if he had any 2-1 parliaments available, I was told they were done running that promotion. He then proceeded to take a deep inhale from his already lit Marlboro light, and then coughed several times.

Becoming a little depressed at this 60 year old man, and his wrinkled skin/disgusting cough, I've half-heartedly decided to try to quit smoking. It'll probably last a week.

Beat: 2/1 Parliament promotion is over.
Beat: Day 2 without cigarettes.
Beat: I don't feel nearly as cool while not smoking.

Brag: Not really getting any nic fits today.

Wheeeeeeeeee

P.S.

Sorry no pics, he wouldn't pose for my cell phone, ldo.

I'm on day ten with no smoking. First four days or so were really bad as I had headaches and couldn't sleep at times or had insomnia. I've only been out to a bar once since I've quit, got drunk, and didn't smoke. Major brag right there. My sense of smell and taste is a lot better. I feel like most of the physical cravings are gone and now I just want to smoke because I like to.

Good luck, op.

Thanks for the encouragement,

As long as I stay away from drinking heavily for the first week of it, I should be OK. (Luckily bars at my college don't allow smoking, so that should help a little.)

I dont like parliament lights, they are weak I used to get the 2 for 1`s too, but I would have to smoke one every 20 minutes. Whereas I could get a single pack of Camel anything and actually be able to taste a cigarette and not need one every 20 minutes.

I quit smoking 2 months ago. My life is utterly empty. Never quit, never grow up, never die, head my warning.
