a few things i hate about movies

also, contrary to every stand up comedy routine since 1985, i absolutely LOVE when im in a theater packed full of black people. the jackass movie in some sold out country-ass southern ghetto theater was ill.

What about those people that clap when certain characters appear? Captain Jack Sparrow, for one.

Also, people that put their legs on your chair and therefore feet next to your head. Most of the time i put my feet on the armrest but right next to my face? Hm.

If you get screaming babies that's sitting relatively close to you (say 5 seats or two rows), would you tell the parents to GTFO? Would you do the same if you had been on a date?

i went to see harry potter at the imax in 3d yesterday. it was crowded and before the movie began it was requested we all move to the middle of the theatre so there were no empty seats.

-dude sitting next to my wife had feet that stunk so bad i could smell them the whole movie.

-woman sitting next to me was so fat she couldnt close her legs. legs and fat rolls infringed on my space and seat.

random note, the theatre was mentioned in Heroes. hiro said he had tickets to the buttnumbathon and was trying to take his waitress friend.

buttnumbathon is 24 hours of straight movies. people dress in pajamas and bring pillows.

while im all for beer, I would hate to think how even more incredibly annoying many movie experiences would be with a theatre full of drunk idiots

It was a matinee on a weekday, and I had the day off, so I went to see it. Guy had a welfare-bum kind of a look to him. Pretty sure he was drunk, too.

A black female professor of mine, who looked like Forrest Whitaker's character in battlefield earth, was remarking how much she likes to talk during movies. This other fat black woman in my class says. "Yeah I do too!"
The Professor looked surprised and said "really?"
I don't think they saw the pattern.
