Alright, I did call. Now to the most interesting point, the peak of the hand IMO. b]Flop: ($17.25) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 ![]() BB bets $10.00, Hero calls $10.00 Turn: ($37.25) 6 ![]() BB checks, What is villains range after he checks turn here? How does hero contine? [/ QUOTE ] His range could be pretty wide...he could have been 3 betting you pretty wide and a c-bet is normal.... we were hoping he ould check the turn...now you're nearly 100% sure you have the best hand. So bet or check. I could see checking if he bluffs the river a lot. Otherwise betting here seems good as that 6c did put out some draws there that he could be on. |

so do we think villain bluffs river with AK if we check behind on the turn? Turn: ($37.25) 6 ![]() BB checks, Hero checks River: ($37.25) 9 ![]() BB bets $24.00 [/ QUOTE ] Yep that's why I thought valuebet turn is usually best.... so does he have an unusually high river aggression factor? I probably call since you have shown no aggression the entire hand and this could be a bluff. |

I'd call. Then I'd call his cbet on the flop, and then I'd bet the turn.

I don't like a turn bet. Worse hands fold, or might CRAI (and leave you vomiting), [/ QUOTE ] Wrong....our stacks are roughly the same size as the pot right now...if he CRAI we just call instantly with no vomiting involved. |

OK, I think we all agree call is optimal. Preflop: Hero is dealt Q ![]() ![]() UTG folds, MP calls $0.50, CO folds, Hero raises to $2.50, SB folds, BB raises to $8.25, MP folds, Hero calls $5.75 Flop: ($17.25) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 ![]() BB bets $10.00 What now? fwiw villain has a cbet rate of 76% [/ QUOTE ] Call and stack off on a safe turn |

My queen policy is to call preflop, go broke on the flop if no overcards fell.
