As I was reading the thread I had the mlg/billy dialogue running through my own head, b/c I usually check this flop too. But I check a lot of flops in this situation and a lot of hands on this board.

How profitably you can play this hand comes down to what he expects you to do with other hands on the turn.

I just jam here because people raise/call 88/99/7x too often for their own good. You're really only behind a bigger ten or a set, since people will frequently reraise JJ+ pf in this spot.

I don't like the idea of calling to try to get more money from ur oppt if he's bluffing, there's a fairly good chance he shuts down unless he improves, and then you're just giving him a free draw.
