Raw would just be nasty. I think it's all steamed and pasteurized before being sold, unless you're buying live crabs to steam yourself.

They're not "canned". They're in a tub. On ice. With a label that says "Eat me now, or I'll stink up your kitchen so bad."

They aren't stone crab claws. Though that is legitimate confusion.Either way they're the exact thing that wet work linked titled "cocktail claws".

They aren't steamed and pasteurized.
