I sometimes wonder how you guys ever get on those high stakes with that kind of plays with an overpair.

I mean is there someone who agrees with this flop/turn play holding QQ?

lead once he might float, lead twice he folds all but overpairs/top pair. fire river for value. this should be pretty basic..

raptor, reasoning for betting out on that flop? just felt like mixin it up?

edit: was typing this while you posted that above me which answered my question sort of, so nvm. i don't really understand betting out though when he could easily have an overpair or hit the flop and the pot is nada

i think its 100% standard to mix this in from time to time. i dont really know how to break it down other than that if u only make this play if u flop a set, its kinda hard to make money.
