i think a 3 bet is standard here for me. my question is what might swing this from a raise to a call? tighter than normal raising range from button? tight 3 bet calling range for button? think im 3 betting almost 100 % of the time here. is that excessive?

[/ QUOTE ] How do you play it when the Flop comes K J x? Donk a lead out bet out there? And regarding the guys discussing calling the 4bet to stack the villain. The 4bet would have to be atleast $50 or $60 and we aren't getting those kind of odds to hit our set. |

reraise. if he shoves, think about it and usually fold. but sometimes call. he's not shoving with JJ/TT much pf.
if flop bricks out, either b/3b or c/r ai. if its an ugly flop like Kxx (or a nice one to bluff i suppose), b/f is usually pretty nice. |

There is some really terrible advice in this thread. Not because people are wanting to do the wrong thing, but their reasoning for doing it. Casper is pretty spot on - it depends on their 3bet calling range an awful lot and how well you can play OOP with marginal hands.
