This was the first one I thought of. Aaron Sorkin is my favorite guy in the history of movies/tv (see my nomination of Jed Bartlett above).

But President Andrew Shepherd is disqualified, for the speech quoted above. Great speech, but I couldn't get into it, because the whole time I was thinking, "You can't CAMPAIGN in the White House Press Room!!!"

Douglas gives good president. I really enjoyed this movie, that scene and Annette Benning would get it.

Yes Dave was very good, but any way you spin it,
Kline's role was of someone who looked like and was to impersonate the president,
whereby his alternate role of actually portraying the president got about
2 minutes screen time (e.g. boring; un-noteworthy)
