I think it probably involved something about tournament life and not risking it.

Oh wait, no it was about limit.

I think my first post was in one of those long Gigabet threads people used to cream over.

In a B&M thread titled: Post the wildest thing you have ever seen happen in a card room

And to think, I'd never been to the Borgota or even played online for real money yet. I heard this story at my home game and decided to finally break my cherry with it.

[ QUOTE ]
Second hand story:

Borgota 2/4 HE. Buddy gets dealt 66 in BB and checks his option with a school of callers. Flop comes 6x6cKc. Hero check-calls and ends up heads up with villan. Turn comes medium club. Hero check-caps. River comes and its raise after raise. Villan offers to go all-in instead of raise for the next 5 minutes, hero obviously agrees (has villan covered) and shows his flopped quads to villian's Ace high flush.

Standard outburst ensues drawing security's attention. As the villan continues his rant, at one point he screams at buddy that "he doesn't know how to play this ****ing game," at which my friend laughs out loud. Villan starts to move toward seated friend, security reaches out to grab his arm, villan throws elbow behind him and gets swarmed by grunts and carried out.

After all this, dealer turns to friend: "Thanks, that should finally be enough to get him banned - I hate that guy."

Mine sucks. From an NVG thread 'Matusow broke again?'

-- From Cardplayer interview a couple of months ago.

Cardplayer - "But you wouldn’t risk your house on poker, especially if you’ve already lost enough money to have gotten to that point in the first place."

Mike - "Sure I would. I’ve done it many times and paid it back." --

Oh so worthless.
