I'm a noob to this forum but I'd say that's a helluva post paradroid. Anyone else agree?

I can see where paradroid is coming from.
He's right that hero likely is ahead of villains 3-bet calling range (AQ+, TT+ is already break even).

Raising or calling flop are therefor both valuable plays, imo. Calling gives a free card and raising costs more.

By calling, often you'll know on the turn wether you're ahead or not. If villain fires again, we're likely behind and fold.
Bad thing about this is it leaves us very fulnerable for 2nd barrels in general and if villain is any decent he'll fire a 2nd barrels on any J+ turn.

On the other hand, villain needs to have some guts to do it, because those turn cards could have hit our range as well.

I'm not nearly good or experienced enough to say wether raising or calling flop is better. I asked a 5/10 winner a few days back about a similar situation and he advocated calling as the default play.
I think the difference is marginal and very player dependant. Position is a factor as well and that leans towards calling.
