285 best. No idea now due to injuries.
I was once benching next to Chris Hovan, formally of the MN Vikings. Hovan loaded the bar with 415 and did 10 reps without a spotter and it looked about as easy for him as warming up with only the bar. |

If I was 180 six months ago, I'd feel gigantic and superman-ish. My last 1RM session was 4 weeks ago, and I haven't lifted much since, due to the WSOP. On the plus side, I'm really close to having abs again, so all is well, and skinny Tex gets much more tail then bulky Tex. I digress. What I wanted to say is benching 2x your body weight w/o a shirt is SO [censored] HARD. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO THIS FOR YEARS. DAMNIT, I WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
