Re: Sonics Fans: Who do you root for post potential move?
I'm in Houston now so I wouldn't mind them moving to OKC. If I were in Seattle I'd either continue not caring again or hop on board the Blazers bandwagon.

[ QUOTE ]
if you like winning, root for seattle. i'm always wary of hyped up players with no experience in the nba but there is nothing to suggest durant isn't going to be an unbelievable player. his attitude says it all. [/ QUOTE ] Durant or no, Seattle is going to be bad for at least 3 more years. Losing Lewis for nothing was crippling to a team that already didn't have tons of talent. |

Re: Sonics Fans: Who do you root for post potential move?
have the sonics lost lewis for nothing? i heard they're working on a sign & trade with orlando.
anyways, i live in vancouver. when the grizzlies moved i decided to be a seattle fan, as i was a supersonics fan pre-grizzlies and have been a mariners fan as long as i've watched baseball. however, what really happened is i just stopped caring about the nba for the most part. i still enjoy watching games, but i have virtually zero rooting interest in any one team or player. mostly i root against players i don't like, ie stevie franchise and ben wallace. |

TD,
Orlando has nothing to offer that we want. We'd be better up getting nobody and saving cap room. I fully endorse two seasons of Sonic sucking and more happy draft picks. |

Re: Sonics Fans: Who do you root for post potential move?
How likely is it that the Sonics are going to move. I'll be moving to Seattle for college, and it would suck not to have an NBA team.
Btw, UO blows. Go Huskies. |

I too would like someone who is in Seattle to comment on the likeliness of a move in a %.

But that all might change once Oct. 31 nears, which is the date that Bennett can file to move the Sonics. I know the Mucklehoots have proposed a deal to build an arena on land they own near Emerald Downs, but I haven't heard much else. But as far as rooting for them if they moved. I'm sure I would for the first few years, then I would probably lose interest. I enjoy the college game better |

Re: Sonics Fans: Who do you root for post potential move?
Seattle and Portland are huge rivals. Unfortunately I am referring to the WHL teams, not NBA =P
I never really cared either way about the Blazers until they started acquiring criminals and thugs at an alarming rate. Then I was forced to root against them. |

Re: Sonics Fans: Who do you root for post potential move?
agreed. Hard to root for that sort. Fortunately they have a team full of good guys, sans D. Miles. A few are even Seattle natives!
