in to tie Herbie. [/ QUOTE ] in biotch (you're losing again) plus signing up twice in a row is a borderline angleshoot |

I'll see about getting that list up Saturday, chuckles. I'd do it now, but my notes are at home and I am at work.

early and often! just like voting.
Still in even if the role list sucks. I think I was the only one who didn't get my game wrecked in election by too many villager roles. |

Re: Gold Rush WW (starts July 9th) - sign up early and often
We are a few names short of enough to make this a go, right now. This means that I expect to post the official thread with day-zero material and do the randing Monday, and have the first lynch be on Tuesday. SIGNUPS ARE STILL OPEN right now (and will be to tomorrow morning) - we have somewhere between 12 and 14 in. We can adapt to high teens if we have to; 20 would be lovely.
I was asked for a role list... a pretty themed list, complete with the names of all the characters, will be up on Day Zero. For now, the roles, briefly: The wolf team ------------- One evil seer One wolf who randomly kills one of his attackers One wolf who randomly turns one of his attackers into a wolf One vanilla wolf One wolf with a hidden weakness - he's having an affair with one of the villager's wives, if that goes sour his identity gets exposed. [Room for a sixth wolf if we have a huge flood of signups] The neutrals ------------ One person who thinks he's a villager, but in fact wins by dying, whichever side kills him One person who forgives his attacker, i.e., does a small favour for whichever side kills him (no major pumpkinage) and wins if the side that attacks him wins Villagers --------- Two approximately garden variety seers One approximately garden variety angel (with some mild limits to prevent him protecting the same person night after night) One significantly limited angel, who is in a star-crossed-lovers entanglement Numerous villagers (including the angel's lover and the cuckolded husband who may expose the wolf - but these people will simply be told they are villagers. The above feels right to me for something like 17 players... at 15 I'd tend to give the angels a bit more teeth, at 21 or 22 I'd add the vanilla wolf. Comments welcome, as well as additional signups. Yes, a few of the above are slightly gimmicky sounding - but I've tried to avoid gamebreakingly bizarre twists, and every one of the twists is required by a particular passage in one of the poems. |

IN, but I'm gone tomorrow (Monday) (Which seems OK)...
Metagame: I'm NOT reading my role until some >1/2 point through Tuesday. |

Re: Gold Rush WW (starts July 9th) - sign up early and often
So there is a villager who thinks he is a villager, but really wins by dying? I'm fine with a jester role, but it seems much more fair to the player if they know their objective is to die.
