That's what she said...

BOOYAH!

cero,

let's say that you SAW everyone's cards behind you and no one had flopped a flush there. why in heck would you shove?

TWP

Edit: KOD/Acid - no one's advocating calling with a non-nut draw. If I had Kd2c I would fold, too.

6 ways for 300 each +1k lead to him sitting with 5k effective, a flat call really doesn't make sense here, just put it in.

you guys do not understand how good this game is, folding is not an option

true. its awesomeness can be summed up in 4 words:

"I straddle the button."

what's even more awesome is that there are some people who don't.

If we shove here, there's no way anyone can call with a made straight. Even a small flush or set may fold. So I think shoving is the right play and will isolate against the bettor.

I agree with cero, unless you are getting some magical feeling just shove and finish your drink.

i thought for a bit, considered pushing, considered mucking, decided to call. button thought for a while and called too. the bb then shoved for 5800 more.

the guy that bet 1k folded T9o face-up (which was very poor etiquette, it gave way too much info). i folded, button thought for a very long time and folded 7d2d face-up. bb showed one card, 8d.

So what's your play and why?

Most here seemed to agree on shoving.

Because lots of hands that are slightly behind (or even ahead with 2 pair) could make profitable calls if they knew they weren't drawing dead.
