Wow, this is quite scary.

Party needs to do something about playerlogin/tealninja NOW!

There have been way to many reports of this guy to not trigger some sort alarm on Party's side.

[/ QUOTE ]

Its already been investigated... there are numerous threads here on this topic.... there was NO foul play to be found by PP's security team.

That is the problem. Don't you see?

All I know is that if Party does not get Peachy and other's I know their money back and at a MINIMUM come up with proof that yes her money was stolen, then I have zero confidence in Party Gaming's ability to keep my money safe, and since I use my Party account like once every 2 months, there is no reason for me to keep thousands and thousands of dollars in it. Therefore, I will most definitely be taking out all my Party money, and if I ever get an urge to play on there again, I will simply deposit and withdraw thru neteller with each session and Party will accrue a lot of neteller fees thanks to me.

But as it is, if they tell Peachy they cannot even prove her money was stolen, that to mean means them as a site simply sucks at protecting its customers and their support is incompetent, since it is a 1000000% fact that her money was stolen by a hacker.

Several people I know have had their accounts hacked recently and there have been VERY clear cases of chip dumping, all to the same person. Anyone with half a brain and a mediocre understanding of poker could see what has happened. If these issues are not resolved, I do not feel safe with my money on Party Poker. Until these issues are resolved, I will be playing on Poker Stars, where my money is secure and their support can speak and understand english. Please forward this to your manager.

Is the problem related to a user's lack of secuirty or Party's?

I have Zone Labs and Trend Micro's PC-cillin. Before that I had Avast! (which I heard is not a good security system) and would scan my computer about once a week with Housecall and Adware. I feel like my computer security is pretty safe here.

Peachy, what security measures do you have on your computer?

-Do you run any sort of virus scan?
-Do you run any sort of a spyware scan?
-Do you have a firewall?
-Do you use "strong" passwords?
-Do you leave your computer on all the time, or the Party client open all the time?

Many are curious.

So, not to be a jerk or anything, but could Peachy or someone explain what actually happened to her, rather than just saying stuff like "it's 10000000% certain her money was stolen by a hacker"? Was it the same thing that happened to the playerlogin people or something different?

10k in 100 hands, sounds like my 3/6 6 max winrate, lol. I find it extremely alarming to.

I have pulled all of my money out of Party and will not be going back until they fix this. I also sent this email.

There have been several reports of accounts being hacked on the Party website. One person I know lost over $10,000. It appears that someone hacked into her account, and then "dumped" all of her chips in a No-Limit game. As a professional poker player, it goes without saying that this alarms me greatly. I have removed all of my money from PartyPoker and will not be returning to your site until I have some sort of assurance that my money is safe with you. I hope you will look seriously into this matter. DO NOT send me one of your form letter responses, as I will look upon that as a personal insult and a sign that you have no interest in my business.

You understand that getting your account hacked has nothing to do with Party, right?

I can think of all sorts of reasons not to play on Party, but, if you're playing online poker anywhere, you're running the same risks.
