Do you not see how this could be an opportunity to change her mind? It's not exactly impossible to win a girl over in one or two nights of the right kind of conversation even if that girl previously had absolutely zero interest in you in THAT kind of way. This is especially so with those high-school-friendship meeting-up-again-for-drinks type of things. I agree with ElD. That was a really good text. Can make her giggle and feel comfortable going out with the guy. Where it goes from there who knows but it's a good opener. Texting her again to tell her he wants to sex her up would not be a good play imo but I guess this is personality dependant. For me there's zero chance that kind of approach would work. I think just don't be an emo-wuss but don't be all drooly in a "hell ya I want to get in your pants" kind of way. Her hoping to invite the married guy should not mean that d10 has zero shot.

[/ QUOTE ] It doesn't help when you start aging at 18. If we put aside getting fat, I think blacks and whites are about tied. Some black people seem to get super lucky though, and it hardly shows at all.

[/ QUOTE ] I didn't see that d10 apparently is giving up on this that quickly. I completely agree with somethingclever's assessment. giving up that easy seems uncalled for here. Put a little effort into it and maybe something awesome happens. But if he's so ready to give up on it before even really trying then I don't know if he's going to pull it off anyway.

I think my time is better spent elsewhere but I can't have random internet dudes questioning my commitment. FWIW I don't think she's interested in sex right now. I was pretty lame in high school and have only talked to her a few times since then. So I'm not gonna send her that text. But I did call her, told her my best friend was not invited, and if she had a boyfriend he was not invited either (90% sure she didn't have a boyfriend), she laughed and we agreed to get together tomorrow. I will work my game and see what happens.
