This is a total joke. Pacman did nothing wrong and is not a suspect. Members of his entourage got involved in some trouble, and now police are just asking Pacman questions. It's depressing that the media and the public continue to jump at every opportunity to pile on this guy

I'm sure part of if is racism...People seem to have their minds made up in this situation without even looking at the details

FWIW he can't play in the CFL. The CFL created the Ricky Williams rule where suspended NFLers can't play.

Also PacMan is clearly a punk, but didn't really do that much wrong here.

I don't think it's a question of whether he did something wrong. He clearly did something stupid.

The bolded part is the problem. Those folks should not be his entourage. He has to get the [censored] away from those people, and do in yesterday. It may be too late, though. Folks need to stop playing the race card when the answer is so simple.

wtf is wrong with the world if a grown man can't go to a stripclub when he feels like it

he's not a suspect

[/ QUOTE ]

It's not like he was there when some random person committed a crime, it was his "entourage". The NFL is a brand that is marketed to the American people, and it doesn't matter if you are a thug or just hanging around thugs, it hurts their bottom line. I think even more so than steroids, people get fed up with these thug players.

Part of being an adult in a business like this is knowing who to hang out with and who not to, because [censored] happens when you're with bad people.

He can go to a strip club whenever he likes, but when he brings a group of ten guys that feel entitled by association, and are looking for an opportunity to assert their manhood and celebrity, problems will happen.

just to chime in, pacman should definitely catch heat for the company he keeps, he has not bothered to change his attitude one bit and should be held responsible...this is beyond a joke, this guy doesn't get it and refuses to reform...this kind of stuff hurts the nfl's image and by all means, pacman should take some blame here...

"Sorry guys. I know we've been friends since childhood. We've been through good times and bad, you've always had my back, and I've always had yours...But Commissioner Goodell and the national media think you're bad influences on me, so it's time for me to find some new friends. It's been real"

I'm seriously disgusted by all of this. The commissioner should be able to tell the players not only how to behave off the field, but also who they should surround themselves with? Really? Why the hell should Pacman be persecuted for the actions of his friends? The league is worried about its image, its image wouldn't be affected in this case if the media and the public would show some common sense and stop rushing to assumptions.

I hate when people use the race card, I've never done it in my life ever before...But this time it seems to be correct. People have their minds made up on Pacman, and his race has more than a little bit to do with that

pacman is getting persecuted??? hahahahahaha. hes a political prisoner!

if this is about race, do you think a white guy who did this wouldn't get suspended? of course he would. there is no good reason for pacman to be at a strip club at 4am given the situation he is in. Given his actions he can't complain about what is coming to him. And yeah, it is totally unreasonable to expect him to cut off ties with his criminal friends. They are his childhood friends, its basically out of his control, right? Time for him to grow up.

This is just about the most idiotic thing I've ever read.

So if your friends are gun-toting criminals, you should stick with them forever? You should never make any attempt to distance yourself from criminals because you have a past with them? You should always let your friends dictate what is right and wrong for you? Since you grew up as a thug and your friends are still thugs, you should just remain a thug? Never make any attempt to become something more or better? Regardless of who his friends are, have you forgotten the last strip club incident where he carried in $81k in cash and assaulted a stripper? You really believe his behavior would be judged as perfectly ok if he were white? WTF!
