Re: Folding an overpair on a safe river.
You need to be ahead about 30% of the time to call. You're actually ahead about 75% of the time given the board and the action. This is a ridiculous fold.
What this hand actually looks most like to me is something like AT or even QJ that called with overs + straight draw and is trying to steal after you played it weakly and they whiffed. I'd strongly consider calling with AK here. |

....But after i check the turn he's gotta think there i a good chance that i have nothing. Why would he VB if he thinks i have nothing? Why would he bluff if his 66 beats my assumed nothing? [/ QUOTE ] So he thinks you've got nothing and bets $42 to try and convince you he's got nothing too? Don't follow the logic here? Put another way if he thinks you've got nothing what hands does villan expect to get a call from when he bets $42 on the river?????????? |

what if he thinks you have a better nothing than him?
if we're folding TT here, he could be bluffing with 9x then. |

Do you guys really expect somebody who is playing 20/9 to call from the SB with 98 or 87. [/ QUOTE ] LOL, omg yes. 20/9 is textbook "bad TAG" stats. He's not folding the SB with anything as pretty as 98 soooooted and he sure as hell isn't the re-raise-or-fold type with only a 9% pfr. |
