Re: Wiring money to the Rio is simply impossible
[ QUOTE ]
1. That wasn't a Bellagio chip Nolan Dolla had, it was an MGM chip. Bellagio chips are better than cash. 2. I've heard WSOP is exclusively only taking money orders or cash. 3. You will need a Harrahs Total Rewards card, you can get that in a seperate line(It's on the right right before you would make a left into the poker room) [/ QUOTE ] Will Harrah's take a money order or cashier's check as an entry fee? |

[ QUOTE ] problem fixed guys. last time I was in vegas and went to boa to get cash they could only give me 10k. most banks don't carry much cash anymore. this time I went to a different boa to wire money to the bellagio and they gave me the entire 80k in cash. [/ QUOTE ] MMM.. what's that like??? I assume it felt something like bags of sand. [/ QUOTE ] |

I have the Harrah's card from last year's WSOP, so that's not an issue. But if WSOP is only taking money orders or cash, should I just wire to the Bellagio, get B chips, cash out at B, then take a cab to the Rio to register or whatnot? edit: MORE GL AT MANDALAY BRO |

With all the hassles and poor service I've heard about at the Rio (and with Harrah's in general), it just seems easier. Even if I can't buy in using Bellagio chips, I can just play cash games at the B (I was planning to do so anyway), swap chips for cash and then buy in at the Rio, or whatever. |

Re: Wiring money to the Rio is simply impossible
Shockingly, I actually got the money I had wired to the rio. Unsurprisingly it took them 4 days after their bank confirmed they had the money for them to know they had it and let me access it.
