What the hell kind of tight-ass images do you guys have where you can 5-bet fold?
If I ever get to the point where I think this is a fold, I would seriously re-evaluate my preflop strategy. How do you guys get any action? |

you guys are smoking big ass rocks. Jesus. repot and call a shove? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. get real. If you reraise to w/e, it def should be with the intention of folding to a shove. If one of these guys shoves over a 5bet 150+BB deep, WHAT DO YOU THINK HE HAS AYHCYAHCYHCYAHCYAHCAYHCAYCHAYCHA. If I reraise and get called im checking every single flop that isnt K high. [ QUOTE ] 5-bet call a shove. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] I think there have been several posts about this regarding the math, and how deep you would need to be to fold KK preflop, and it is certainly not 150BB's deep. 4-bet this ish and get the money in, if you run into AA chaulk it up to variance, but it is not the wrong play to get the money in preflop with the 2nd best hand possible. |

As I posted before, I think I would 5-bet fold and here is why:
The SB, who is a preflop 4-bettor, has a PFR of 6%. The fact that he 4-bet out of the SB gives him a VERY tight range IMO. AA, KK, QQ, and AK. We still do well against this range, and if the preflop raises were bigger (as they should've been), it would probably be about $60 to us and we could easily push it in without a doubt. However, intsead of facing a $60 bet and having the chance to put all the money in against this specified range, we are only facing a raise of $20. Effectively we are getting the same information but at a much cheaper price. I think this gives us much more room to make a decision and almost changes this hand to one where the effectives stacks are much larger. So... we are facing this 4-bet with a range that we decided we are ahead of, and with another player to act behind us. We raise. Something like $60 will do. Most likely the button will fold (If button goes AI and SB folds I call here). Then the SB either calls or goes AI. If he calls, I get it AI on most flops. If he raises (remember he is PFR 6% and he is now 6-betting ????) I think he has AA about 95%+ of the time. I think we have room to fold. I know a ton of you are in the never fold AA preflop camp, but i think this is a very rare situation where you can. |
