Ah, the "internet people"

Nothing exceeds the wackiness of their fringe beliefs, other than their over inflated sense of importance.

Wait, would his odds be dropping or rising?

I know nothing about sports betting.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would think that a lot of people bet on him because they thought his odds will drop sig lower (maybe into the 50-1 or 20-1 range) and they will cver their positions.

dropping- which means gamblers thing he is more likely to win the presidency today, than yesterday.

[/ QUOTE ]

Note that his odds are still 100 to 1 against.
I wouldn't bet on him at that price, although I might at 200 to 1.

Just to clarify: Ron Paul is personally 100% pro-life, but he believes that the issue is within the states' jurisdiction, and thus would not seek to overturn Roe V. Wade, is that right?

[/ QUOTE ]

Uhm, Roe V. Wade is specifically anti-states rights. The ruling says that states aren't allowed to have their own abortion laws (blatantly ignoring the Tenth Amendment). It has nothing to do with federal law. This is why I'm pro-choice but anti-Roe V. Wade. The ruling isn't anywhere near what most people think it is.

online is about the only place he'll surge

the media refuse to acknowledge him other than some Fox analysts asking that he no longer be allowed to debate

there appears to be no tipping point at which Paul can impact the larger national concious

this saddens me as I'm an old school Goldwater republican. Paul is about the only guy that comes close to that line of thought....sigh. Engels was right...the bastard.

Republicans hate him, but liberals think he is interesting.
