I watched this the other night because all of OOT jacked off to it.

2 hours later, I saw nothing that hadn't been shown to me in the 90 second trailer.

The Break Up

Painful movie to sit through.

I watched it a 2nd time and really paid attention to Vince Vaughn and Vince Vaughn only and it was actually pretty funny. I hated it in the theater.

I pretty much entirely agree with this. Give me the 6 minute war scene near the end, cut out the rest, and it's just as good. Or just as bad. However you want to look at it.

Pretty much my pick for most overrated movie of 2006.

On another note.... I won't post spoilers, but Fracture????? Pretty decent movie, good acting, whatever, and then BAM CLIMAX.... oh wait what?

Since we're going down the Sandler route, Click was absolutely awful. I'm in the architecture industry and it's like they didn't even take 5 seconds to actually research how an architect would act. Hint: Sandler was nothing like an architect. At all. Plus the movie just sucked in general.

Boooo @ Adam for not trying. I do love Sandler though. But booo hisss at this steaming pile of excrement.

[/ QUOTE ]

A Sandler movie that annoyed me was Billy Madison.

The basic premise was flawed.

Billy was this rich kid slacker who spent his days drinking and hanging out with his friends, but when his father threatens to let someone else run the company, suddenly Billy wants to run it. He was 27. If had any desire to be a part of the company, wouldn't he have already been an executive like Donald Trump's son?

Of course, if that were the case, the movie wouldn't have sense either because his father wouldn't have had any problem with letting him run things.

Meh, complaining about the premise of unrealistic comedies is kind of like complaining about not getting a serious relationship out of online porn.

This topic just keeps bringing movies to my mind....

Freedomland

So is Julianne Moore mentally handicapped? Did I miss something?

Reign Over Me

So, do people really act constantly drunk when they are depressed 6 years after their family's death? Unfortunately, for whatever reason, i couldn't get over how I felt this was a forced reaction that wasn't realistic. I've never had anyone close to me die like that so I have no reference point. But it aggravated me as I watched it.

Superman Returns

So does he just get to pick and choose WHEN the Kryptonite is deathly to him? I'm not a Superman fan or whatever really, and in general thought the movie was pretty good, but, well, ya... he was holding like a mountain of it and lived
