Dear Professor X,

I know that it is the last day of class, I have a zero homework grade, my highest test grade is 19%, I did not sign up for the required lab section, I missed 3/4 of the classes, and this is the first time I have contacted you, but is there anything that I could do to pass your class? I am supposed to graduate this semester and this class is required by my major.

Sincerely,

A [censored] Idiot

I've definitely had regular intersections where you had to press this button. Usually a busy street and a small street intersecting. The busy street stayed green until a car pulled up on the small one or someone pushed the button. If it had been long enough since the last red for the busy street, the busy street would immediately turn yellow.
