so i guess there are no 26 inch tv/ monitors with 1600*1200 res. this was a gift from circut city, but i can still exchange it. It was about $900

yes, you got a $900 TV that would be only so-so for playing online-poker on.

Most TV's that I know of will only have so-so resolution as a computer monitor. Pretty sure that's how it works.


A 20" monitor at 1600x1200 is a pretty good buy.


The Samsung 245BW is a 24" wide-screen with 1920x1200 res.
I found one for $570 but I suspect if you looked around you could do a little cheaper.


samsung has a new 30" monitor with 2560x1600 res that sounds pretty awesome.
Price is $2k though.
