VNH!

I'm fairly new to SNGs and was experiencing HUGE variance at first, then thanks to this forum I learned a ton and am now doing much, much better.

The single most important thing I learned is table selection and using Sharkscope. I won't register for any tourney that has more than 1 or 2 regs (hope I don't get seated between them lol)and knowing who they are is very important to my ROI. Likewise knowing who the fish are before the cards are dealt is very +EV.

Thanks!!

nice post wiggs. I am working on on my pooh-bah post and was going to mention a few of the items you mentioned above, but you probably said it better

Anyway, table selection... I have heard about this, but have never practiced it.

In fact, for some reason, I have deliberately sat at tables knowing that there were a lot of regulars. I think I did this partly to see how they play, but mostly to show them that I am a goot playa.

I usually play 4 games at once, and I am learning to play 6, so if I feel strong I will play 6, like you. But I have actually planned on only playing 4, and registered for 6 when I saw other regulars.

There has been some discussion on table section recently, but your post definitely hammers home how important table selection is... especially since only 3 people are making the money!

Spacegravy, Finnisher, Venetian... I like you guys, but I don't want to play with you anymore!
