Not the best thread ever but meh. [/ QUOTE ] Not a god playalong, anyway. HU hands rarely make good play-alongs...it's like trying to do one with a 2p2 table hand. In terms of general posting guidelines, your tone is very defensive throughout. That's usually a bad way to go, because you come off as non-authoritative but also non-questioning, and that there's some ulterior motive to posting. It's often a good sign that the post should be in BBV or NC. |

I didn't mean to have a defensive/offensive tone. I meant to use words that left room for discussion, of which there was very little. Just opinions thrown out. In retrospect a hand like this has several decent+ ways to play it, so I dunno what I was I expecting. My bad I guess. I suspect defensive is better than offensive though.

i kinda like check/calling the flop and check/raising the turn, here.
if villain is tiltily betting a lot, and won't get scared off of this flop by a check/raise, it might be better to float our semi-bluff to the turn, where he might back down (and it's not like getting a free card is the worst thing ever, either, with our hand). i generally feel like flopping a hand this strong = doesn't really matter, though. maybe i'm not good enougn to tell, yet. bbbushu |
