It sounds reasonable until you look at it this way:
The government forces your child to attend school. The schools are run by the government. The teachers there carry guns....?? No thanks. I am loathe to send my child to public school as it is. If the teachers at my child's govt-run and mandated school are carrying guns too, that would probably drive me to homeschool them. BTW: the answer is to eliminate compulsory attendance and to privatize all schools. natedogg |

You think that means anything beyond the fact that it looks good? [/ QUOTE ] It doesn't have to mean anything as I pretty rarely disagree with something Russ Feingold has done. Most letters I get back confirm that Feingold already holds the view I do, and then he votes/legislates that way. It's pretty swell. |
