PS- For any of you who have never been, the WSOP is well worth whatever sacrifice you have to make to get out here. I always put 100% of my bankroll into play during the WSOP because your expectation in both live games and tournaments is probably twice as high during that glorious 45 day stretch than it is at any other time of year. Every tournament except the $50K HORSE is softer than the Stars Sunday Million, the one-table satellites are softer than the Party $5's, and the cash games are beatable for >10BB/100.

This is interesting. I wondered about this and thought it would be tougher w/ everyone coming in to play poker, figured games would be tougher...

There the whole summer, at the shipitmansion. Hoping to luckbox some bracelets this year so Im going to try to play every hold em event at the Rio or Bellagio (so like 0 days off) assuming I can recover from spending all my money on my condo this month.

I hope to be there for a good part but I'll typically be by the pool, craps table and nightclubs. Might find some time for some high stakes LHE/SNGs. I'd almost certainly be -EV in any WSOP event so I'm not gonna play. It should be a crime to play live poker w/o a beer in hand. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

ummm wtf in regards to your -ev comment... are you serious? even if you thought you were really bad live or some other thing, that i guarantee youre overestimating, you would be hugely +ev... these things are [censored] caaaaaaake... there is no way to prove it obv, but id bet a lot of money that you are significantly +ev...

in regards to the beer comment... i agree... my favorite thing to do at a casino is play 2/5 nl and triple fist... this has resulted in several funny stories... and several death threats from an asian dude named marcus.
