Dont bother with the 1 dollar ones just play the 2 dollar sitngos with any amount of decent knowledge on bubble play you can easily 4 table at a 30-50% ROI. the rake is same as dollar tourneys. 5 buyins to start is plenty for those on FTP.

I'm pleased it's only blood you are suggesting and not other bodily fluids. I shudder to think what picture you would have posted.

p.s. You get PAID for donating blood where you are?

You can get paid for donating blood in Michigan.

For bankroll building hu sngs is the best thing if you're good at it.

I downloaded Gametime+ and took a night to acclaimate myself to it. I played a full ring cash game at $10/NL then added a table once I got used to reading the numbers. I don't see how I could play poker without this!! Before it was like I was just guessing!!

Anyway, as for the bankroll building process, I didn't get a lot accomplished last night other than earning some of my bonus money from FT, but remember that I was experimenting w/ the new software.

I made $6.15 over 3.5 hours of play.
If I would have laid down my flush when the board paired this one time, I would have had a much better session.

Some stats from PT:
328 total hands
9.37 BB/100 Hands
VP$P 25.30%
W$SD% 61.11%
PFR% 10.06%
Flop AF 4.43
Turn AF 10.00
River AF 3.00
Total AF 5.4

Can anyone give me an opinion on what these stats say to you, and how you would adjust your play to a player with similar stats?

I played again for almost 3 hours this morning. Posted a $2.70 gain 3 tabling the $10/NL games and got my first $5 of bonus moved to my account from FT. I was up much more than that earlier then made a bad play, got AA beaten by K-10 and made some bad bluffs. I was down $10 or so then caught some hands just before I was getting off to put me into the positive. Bankroll stands at $45.75.

How come everybody on this forum has <$50 to their name?

Why not deposit a regular amount of money and play whatever game you feel gives you the best edge at a limit than can result in shipping some mobnies?

I mean, there are still jobs available in the U.S. aren't there? Can't you park cars for like... I don't know... a week, and then deposit a few hundred instead of trying to build a roll from $12?

Seriously, this whole "I only have a few cents left and need to know what to do!" stuff is really depressing.

i never got this either, the point of building a roll off of money you have or from another job is perfectly legitimate....i would try it, youre putting too much pressure to perform with too narrow of stipulations. I grinded back up from under 3 dollars in my account playing micro cent 7 card stud and it was an incredibly painful, long and arduous process and i wouldnt recommend it.

Look, it's very simple. Beg, borrow, steal, or (if absolutely necessary) earn $100. Play the $6.50s. Move up as your BR increases. Eventually turn it into $20,000. Piss it all away. Then ask curtains to stake you.

I got to play for about 40 min last night before my wife got to me. She doesn't understand this whole bankroll building process. Anyway, I netted $15.60 from $10/NL and got another $5 of bonus from FTP. Total roll is up to $61.35. That's 10.98 BB/100 Hands for $10/NL, I guess you could say the luck box is on, see below:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($12)
UTG ($4.90)
UTG+1 ($15.25)
Hero ($10.40)
MP2 ($3.30)
MP3 ($25.25)
CO ($8)
Button ($9.60)
SB ($3.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.55, 5 folds, BB calls $0.45, UTG folds.

Flop: ($1.25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1, BB calls $1.

Turn: ($3.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $2.1, Hero calls $2.10.

River: ($7.45) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $4.4, Hero calls $4.40.

Final Pot: $16.25

Villain shows KK for one pair

Does this delayed ck-raise on the turn scare anyone and is it a folding situation? Am I just a nit?

Just to state how much of a donkey I am, I just about did the hand in reverse this Sunday on my way to a small lose. I played a total of about 1 hour at $10/NL and was down ($2.30). My only real lose was my K-10 vs the SB's AA. He reraised me pf and I though he was toting an underpair on the flop so I raised his lead bet with my top pair. Waa waa! Bad news was, I played the hand like an absolute donk and didn't hit the miracle suckout on the end!!! In my defense, I did do the raising when I lost vs calling all my chips in w/ a loser.

Roll stands just under $60. Still not that bad considered time played since I started on Thursday night.
